Lu Fine (they/them) is an award winning, Brooklyn based writer, director, editor, and gaffer. Lu’s work is inspired by awkward, offbeat stories of self-discovery, queerness, transness, and displacement from home. Their directing work has been screened at festivals such as The Anthology Institute, Independent Shorts Awards, The San Francisco Transgender Film Festival, TAG! Queer Shorts Festival, and The Future of Art. Most recently, their short narrative film “Nothing Felt Like Her” was awarded the best LGBTQ+ award during the 2024 September ISA season. Their narrative fiction work has been published in literary magazines such as The Fiction Pool.
